  1. Aigerim Richman says:

    Hello,
I have a 15 months old son who does not yet say neither mama, nor dada or daddy. It’s usually a continuous babbling of syllables like da da da or na na na as well as random sounds. He also does not seem to be understanding simple requests. Is it better to do a screening?
It says on your website that you accept AHCESS, is there any additional co payments at the time of the appointment?
    Thank you.

  2. Most children start talking at 12 months of age. AHCCCS required a pediatrician referral and authorization, so please see your doctor.
Early intervention is important, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

  3. My 16 year old has a speak stutter he has had for many years. In doing research I have found that it is not a server stutter but frustrating. He seems to stutter more when he is nervous or excited, funny thing is he can speak in accents, like Scottish, Irish, Russian when he does he does not stutter at all. What is the 1st step to being seen by you?

He’s been in counseling and sees an occupational Therapist I’ve tried to have him tested for autism but the school won’t do it every year they tell me next year and then switch phychologists so I have to start all over.
